Organized by the Festival Acc\u00e8s Asie, the competition seeks to increase visibility for films and filmmakers of Asian heritage in Canada and Quebec. \ud83c\udfa5<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left has-medium-font-size\"><strong><strong>Rules &amp; Terms:<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">\u2013 Films must be directed by ASIAN FILMMAKERS LIVING IN CANADA (permanent resident or Canadian citizen)<br>\u2013 If the filmmaker is not of Asian heritage, he or she must have a minimum of 2 Asian key members in the following position: producer ; writer ; main actor or actress.<br>\u2013 Asiate en court refers to Canadians of Asian heritage from the 51 countries of the Asian continent.<br>\u2013 Films must be under 30 minutes.<br>\u2013 Films could be documentaries, fiction of any genre, animation, experimental ou short series.<br>\u2013 Work should have been release between 2022 and 2025.<br>\u2013 Non-French or non-english language films should be sent in French-subtitled versions (or English).<br>\u2013 A film already submitted in the past cannot be submitted again.<br>\u2013 Films cannot be broadcast on tv or web in Canada between submission during Asiate en court edition.<br>\u2013 The submitter must be entitled to submit the film and the legal rights to screen it.<br>\u2013 Submission does not guarantee acceptance, the team of Asiate en court will select the films for the festival and the submitter will be notified if the film has been accepted.<br>\u2013 We have to be notified of any screening fees in the initial submission.<br>\u2013 The submission fee is non-refundable.<br>\u2013 By submitting a film the filmmakers, copyright owners and distribution rights owners agree to have the film screened if selected for the program.<br>\u2013 We will require selected filmmakers to send promotional materials and reserve the right to use stills and images for our own use on our website, program and press releases.<br>\u2013 For submission it will be enough to send a link to Vimeo or similar with a password and once the film has been accepted, we will let in which format we will need the screening copy.<br>\u2013 Shipping costs or digital transfer costs have to be paid by the filmmaker.<br>\u2013 Applicants with a waiver code may submit a maximum of 20 films.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\"><strong><strong>If you have any questions, please contact<\/strong>: <a href=\"mailto:cinema@accesasie.com\">cinema@accesasie.com<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:41px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-content-justification-center is-layout-flex wp-container-core-buttons-is-layout-16018d1d wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link has-text-align-center wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/filmfreeway.com\/Asiateencourt\"><strong><strong>S<\/strong>UBMIT A SHORT FILM<\/strong><\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ASIATE EN COURT, 3rd edition Deadline : February 9, 2025 at 11:59pm \ud835\uddd4\ud835\udde6\ud835\udddc\ud835\uddd4\ud835\udde7\ud835\uddd8 \ud835\uddd8\ud835\udde1 \ud835\uddd6\ud835\udde2\ud835\udde8\ud835\udde5\ud835\udde7 (3rd Edition) is \ud835\uddee\ud835\uddfb \ud835\uddd4\ud835\ude00\ud835\uddf6\ud835\uddee\ud835\uddfb [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":10184,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[31],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-10190","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-news"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.9 -
