The project can take the form of an&nbsp;installation, performance, or a one-time public presentation.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">The selected artist will receive an&nbsp;artist fee and production budget&nbsp;and will benefit from OBORO\u2019s support, including:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">L\u2019artiste s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9\u00b7e re\u00e7oit un cachet et un budget de production, et b\u00e9n\u00e9ficie :&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">-Up to 5 days of access&nbsp;to OBORO\u2019s&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.oboro.net\/en\/lab\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>New Media Lab<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;studios and equipment;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">-Technical assistance&nbsp;from OBORO\u2019s New Media Lab team (upon availability).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">The completed project will be presented&nbsp;<strong>on May 2, 2026, at OBORO<\/strong>, as part of&nbsp;<strong>Festival Acc\u00e8s Asie<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left has-medium-font-size\"><strong><strong>About the Partners<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Since 1995, Festival Acc\u00e8s Asie has celebrated&nbsp;Asian Heritage Month in Montreal. It is interdisciplinary, inclusive, and intergenerational, showcasing the diversity of practices of artists from Asia and its diaspora in performing arts, visual and media arts, literature, interdisciplinary arts, and culinary arts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Founded in 1982, OBORO is an&nbsp;artist-run center&nbsp;dedicated to the production and presentation of contemporary practices in visual, media, and digital arts. OBORO fosters transcultural artistic experiences as a way to contribute to collective well-being. The center offers&nbsp;residencies, exhibitions, educational activities, and access to studios and equipment&nbsp;via the New Media Lab, which also provides&nbsp;specialized workshops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left has-medium-font-size\"><strong><strong>Eligibility Criteria<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Elligible:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">-Projects in development requiring a short production period;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">-Projects in installation, performance, video, digital art, new artistic practices, music, sound art, or live art;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">-Projects already in progress but never publicly presented.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Not Elligible:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">-Projects previously exhibited or performed in Quebec, or that are too similar to a previous presentation;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">-Projects requiring more than&nbsp;5 days of production&nbsp;or more than&nbsp;one day of presentation.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\"><strong><strong>How to Apply<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Submit your application\u00a0<strong>by email only<\/strong>\u00a0to\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:oboro@oboro.net\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>oboro@oboro.net<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0with the subject line:\u00a0<strong>\u201cProposal for Interval 2026\u201d<\/strong>.
