Description

Open Mic Asiatique is a seasonal event created by Claudia Chan Tak and Rich Ly that brings together Montréal’s Asian community around the arts. OMA offers a platform for local Asian artists—whether established or emerging—to showcase their talent and express themselves freely. All forms of artistic expression are welcome, including singing, dance, poetry, stand-up comedy, magic, and much more.

Since its first edition in May 2023, OMA has organized 17 events and featured over a hundred artists, becoming a highly anticipated gathering where the community can meet, connect, and discover the city’s vibrant local arts scene.

This edition will highlight Animal Noir, Moon & I, Yomogi, and Ziying, and a house band.

A section at the of the show will be participatory: open mic open to everyone.
