Land acknowledgement

Festival Accès Asie recognizes that all of its activities are located on the traditional and unceded territory of the Kanien’kehá: ka people who are the traditional custodians of the lands and waters on which we gather today. Tiohtiá: ke / Montreal is historically known as a gathering place for many First Nations, and today a place of life for a diverse Indigenous population and other peoples. It is our collective responsibility to show not only respect for Indigenous Peoples, but also to inform and educate ourselves so that the relationship between Indigenous Peoples and the Montreal community finds its way to reconciliation.
