Description

With more than 25 years of experience as a dance interpreter, Ziyian Kwan presents, for the first time in the role of choreographer, The Neck to Fall. In this choreography, Kwan brings human vulnerability to light by weaving together seemingly unrelated images and events. In this work, she explores human fragility through movement strongly inspired by the teachings of dancer, teacher and researcher Amelia Itcush.

In La Synesthésie du Dragon, Genviève La performs her multi‐sensory choreography. Inspired by oriental philosophy, this interpreter and choreographer presents five scenes and five elements – fire, earth, water, metal and wood – with their symbolic associations through the five senses. La collaborates with other artists such as Vietnamese author Kim Thúy. In this highly sensorial experience, La will use gest, costume, color, light and even something tantalizing to taste.

This double performance promises to be an intensely creative experience!
