We are seeking to hire a new Artistic Director!

Reporting to the Board of Directors and working closely with the Managing Director, the Artistic Director will implement the Festival’s mission of celebrating Asian arts and cultures. They will be responsible for developing the Festival’s annual programming, including the May festival, the provincial touring program (Fleur de lys, Fleur de thé), outreach activities, and other related initiatives.

Working Conditions

· Permanent, full-time position, 35 hours per week.

· Start date: Fall 2026, exact date to be determined.

· Salary: $50,000 to $54,000 per year (depending on experience).
· Work arrangement: Hybrid, combining remote work and in-office work at 1200 de Bleury Street, in downtown Montréal.

· Evening and weekend work during festival periods and certain events.

· 3 weeks of annual vacation, plus 2 weeks of office closure during the holiday season.

· Unlimited sick days (with conditions).

· Professional development: Opportunities to participate in Montréal’s cultural life, including Festival activities and other cultural events throughout the year.

CALL FOR APPLICATIONS – Board of Directors of Festival Accès Asie

Festival Accès Asie,  a flagship event of Asian Heritage Month in Montreal, is seeking new individuals to join its Board of Directors.

For over 30 years, the Festival has highlighted the richness and diversity of artists from Asian communities through a multidisciplinary, engaged, inclusive, and contemporary program. In order to continue its development and expand its reach, we are looking to welcome to our Board individuals from Asian communities, or those with meaningful ties to them, who demonstrate a strong interest in the artistic and cultural sector and who wish to actively contribute to Montreal’s cultural vitality.

We welcome applications from individuals with expertise or experience in finance and accounting, communications and marketing, philanthropic development and private sponsorships, as well as governance and strategic management. These skills are valuable assets to the Board, though not mandatory.

We value diversity in backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences. Board members play a key role in strategic direction, financial oversight, and serve as ambassadors of the Festival within the community.

Commitment required: voluntary participation in Board meetings (approximately five per year) and attendance at key Festival events.
